Never Far Gone

<p>What does <strong><em>Control</em></strong> mean to you? Does it refer to how we respond to the situations we find ourselves in? Or our tendency to regulate everyone and everything around us? For <strong>Miles Gether</strong> a former valiant member of the United States Armed Forces this word highlights his purpose and how far he's willing to go to establish himself within the gruesome post-apocalyptic world that has unfolded in the months following his discharge from the Military. </p><p>In an attempt to prosper in an otherwise hopeless situation Miles consolidates a formidable force within New York City otherwise known as the <strong><em>Thrivers</em></strong>. Inevitably some bonds are made while others are severed. With the <em>Thrivers</em> expanding their reach throughout the Boroughs everything seems to be going in the direction it should. Yet through a seemingly endless array of betrayals hubris and lack of judgment Miles's progression is knocked off its path as he soon finds himself consistently struggling with maintaining what he set out to achieve in the first place: <em>Control</em>. </p>
