New concept of Ochratoxin A toxicity

Three parts of the work were performed to conduct the present study aims. Different modification in procedures for isolation extraction and quantification of Ochratoxin A (OTA) were performed by the researcher for better Ochratoxin A production in Aspergillus ochraceus isolates that found to be 62 µg/ml in yeast extract media.Part I was designed to study the hematological biochemical cytogenetic and pathological effects of standard OTA on twenty male rats.Part II was designed to study the neurobehavioural effects of orally daily dosed male rats with OTA for fourteen days .Part III was designed to study the hematological biochemical neurobehavioral and pathological effects of standard OTA dosing to suckling rat pups through milk of their dosed dams.
