New Media in the Classroom

As new media become ever more prevalent within the lives of students they distance the students from relating to traditional teaching. However they also provide an opportunity for teachers to create an interactive classroom in which one is less limited to the structures that are proscribed. By using the methods described in this book it is possible to take English teaching into the 21st century teach them to use modern tools educate them on the possibilities and risks that are ever-present in the world of new media and provide the students a level of autonomy previously unattainable.
