The present work is concerned three metalloporphyrins complexes based on cadmium and vanadium metals. The first with the oxo vanadium (IV) complex of 2 3 7 8 12 13 17 18-octachloro-5 10 15 20-tetrakis (4-tolylporphyrin) with the formula [V(Cl8TTP)O] (I) which was prepared by reacting the oxo [5 10 15 20 tetrakis (4-tolylporphyrinato)] vanadium (IV) complex ([V(TTP)O]) under aerobic atmosphere with a large excess of thionyl chloride (SOCl2). The title compound was characterized by UV-visible spectroscopy cyclic voltammetry and X-ray crystal structure. The second was a new Cadmium (II) Metalloporphyrin in which is reported the Synthesis X-ray Crystal Structure Hirshfeld surface analysis Photophysical and Cyclic voltammetry Characterization of the (Morpholine) {(meso-tetra (para-chloro-phenyl) porphyrinato} cadmium (II). The third is a distorted five-coordinate square pyramidal geometry of cadmium (II) complex containing 2-methylimidazole the synthesis of this compound the crystal structure and axial ligand effect on spectroscopic properties is described.
