About The Book

My views which align with the broader movement toward nudging and choice architecture suggest that modern society can no longer rely on the assumption of the Homo economicus-the perfectly rational agent-to design effective public policies or corporate strategies.

My view argues that by understanding cognitive biases such as loss aversion and hyperbolic discounting policymakers can craft interventions that improve societal welfare without infringing upon individual autonomy.[3]According to

My perspective is deeply rooted in the foundational literature of behavioral science drawing heavily from the work of Daniel Kahneman and Richard Thaler. My view posits that in a modern society characterized by information overload individuals frequently rely on heuristics that lead to suboptimal outcomes in areas ranging from personal finance to public health.

My view maintains that behavioral economics provides the necessary tools to de-bias these environments. For instance he has advocated for the implementation of default options in retirement savings plans noting that the status quo bias is a powerful psychological force that when harnessed correctly can significantly increase long-term financial security for the average citizen.
