New technologies applied to architectural and structural design

A bibliographic survey was made about the characteristics and properties of some materials and technologies used in the civil engineering branch for the execution of architectural and structural projects where it was possible to make a correlation between the characteristics of the material and the types of structural systems. Finally it was evaluated and made the comparisons with three already existing structures between them and the new structures formed theoretically by new materials more modern and with new properties through general parameters and theoretical assumptions. The comparison between two existing structures made of different materials at different times with different functions but with the same geometric shape was also presented.
