About The Book

The twenty-first century saw one of the greatest explosion of baptism in the name of Jesus only on one of the largest scales globally and the noted events of Azusa Street, since the New Testament era and shortly thereafter. Yet we must not forget its continued practice and invocation from the Day of Pentecost and throughout history. In understanding this concept, it will secure the ground to defend its continued practice and global recognition. Over the centuries, we find sources that show that baptism in the name of Jesus only has long survived and was continued, since its inception from the Day of Pentecost as noted in Acts Chapter 2. We see its practice in Europe or the European Union States (EU) as it is modernly termed to Russia as noted by various studies and literature. To its practice in India in which it is said that India has been home to the apostle Thomas who arrived to evangelize India to the Cambridge University scholar's comments as explained in the noted of the great church historian Eusebius of how the Gospel of Matthew in Hebrew had arrived to India in the latter part of the secondary. To the study that noted baptism in the name of Jesus only in Egypt by American scholars and its practice throughout Africa's history to the great awakening testimony by the renowned leading Mexican Apostolic Church Historian a very familiar scholar in the world of biblical and theological scholarship, who informs the reader of the long standing history of baptism in the name of Jesus in Mexico and Latin America to literature discussing baptism in the name of Jesus in Canada. This then simply shows that baptism in the name of Jesus only has long history and understandably stems from the Lord who added to the church daily and in that they continued in the apostles' doctrine.
