New Vistas

This is the author's sixth book and fourth collection of short stories dealing with Raven Coyote and Spirit animal friends. There are fewer stories and they are longer in this volume. Whereas the earlier tales could be simplistic fabalistic even moralistic these latter records seem to show more individual character more plot. There appears to be a greater influence of the Spirits historically and personally; Spirit has pervaded the author's life and the historical world long before the author became aware of it. Perhaps that was his lesson to learn.
