<p><strong>All I wanted was a night out.</strong></p><p></p><p>Not to storm out of a bad date.</p><p> Not to end the night crying in my car.</p><p> And definitely NOT to end up stuck in a snowbank halfway down a mountain road with no cell service no dignity and one rapidly cooling bag of takeout.</p><p></p><p>But the universe apparently had other plans.</p><p></p><p>Because the next thing I knew Spencer Cassidy-yes <em>that</em> Spencer Cassidy the boy I'd secretly adored since childhood pulled up in a fire-engine red tow truck and was tapping on my window like some kind of small-town broad-shouldered rescue fantasy.</p><p></p><p>Now we're trapped together in a remote cabin with one bed no power and a whole lot of memories I thought I'd buried. He's warm ridiculously kind and somehow even more irresistible than he used to be.</p><p> </p><p>And me? I'm trying not to fall harder than I already have-because the last thing I need is to get snowed in with a man who doesn't know he's holding my whole heart.</p><p>But maybe he's about to find out.</p>
