Ngoni and CCJP Approaches to Reconciliation in Katete Parish

This book suggests a contextual theology of reconciliation by looking at an Inculturation Theology which has generally been employed in systematic theology and in liturgy. For instance Ngoni approaches namely m’phala and indaba are values that have to be employed in theology of reconciliation. It is suggested that CCJP can employ them after working on the demerits of these approaches which could be achieved through the training of the traditional leaders. It is also suggested that since CCJP works in communities where there are people of different churches and religions rather than only Catholics it could also employ religious leaders of different churches and religions depending on the people who come to access CCJP services. Therefore the role of Catholic priests in reconciliation is only a model representing religious leaders who could all be utilized by CCJP.
