A word from the Author Hope you enjoy ''Nicola's Surprised Birth Day Present'' written mainly for 2 to 5 year old children. My main goal in writing this book is to give this age group a sense of belonging, humour, and their appreciation of values through the characters of Nicola and Phil. Children are able to learn life long learning skills of love, compassion, empathy and companionship through humananimal interactions. Also, I believe when children are younger, we as parents could guide them into practicing these skills in a positive manner. As a result when they grow up children become more sustainable in their nature and behaviour.
