I decided to write this book because Singapore is not on the radar when people in the United States talk about must-see travel destinations and it should be! Singapore is a very modern cosmopolitan city with a Financial District rivaling Wall Street and more importantly it is a culturally diverse city where the influence of Malaysia India and China blends with the modern influences to create a City-State of unparalleled charms. Additionally there is much to see and do in Singapore for a tourist so I wholeheartedly recommend that you consider putting it on your list of future travel and vacation destinations.
