The poetry collection Silent Midnight is about to see the light of day. The poetry collection is composed of a combination of verse and prose poems in fluent language. About the Author: The poet was born in a poor family in Puran Para village of Gangarampur block of Dakshin Dinajpur district of West Bengal. At a young age his father- Niranjan Mitra passed away due to a chronic disease (05/12/1997 AD). Mother Mrs.- Maya Mitra is a housewife. He had immense interest in writing and studies since childhood. Constantly overcoming poverty he obtained a Master's degree in the Arts department from Rabindra Bharati University. He also completed B. Ed. degree from Masters College of Education. He has been working as a home tutor since his student life. The poet and writer emerged in the literary world through poetry. Pseudonym:- Mukundhan.
