About The Book

Nitrogen is one of the essential metal ion required in the form of nitrates for growth and development of plants. Due to environmental changes some soils are deprived of nitrates. This lack of nitrogen availability leads to the alteration in primary process of photosynthesis in cyanobacteria. In this book a critical analysis has been made to discuss the nitrogen stress induced alterations in energy transfer and electron transfer of Spirulina platensis. Our results clearly demonstrated that PS-II is main target for nitrogen stress and energy transfer from PC to Chla is getting affected
