<p>The initial draft of this book which focused on food and health took an unexpected turn resulting in the loss of much content leaving only a few notes behind. As the writing progressed the book began to evolve independently revealing the complexities of the mind and uncovering truths about our lives. I pondered where my focus had been throughout my life even as a psychotherapist with years of academic achievement including a Master's degree. It seemed I possessed only fragments of a larger puzzle.</p><p></p><p>It is truly remarkable to realize the extent of our potential and strength. Metaphorically the pieces of the puzzle have come together yet one of the significant revelations in this book is that the puzzle was originally complete and it was we who dismantled it. The journey of self-discovery that unfolds through this book is what makes it particularly engaging. To be really interested in you and to see what emerges from this book is your journey.
