No Such Thing as Ghosts

It s Lila B s first day at a new school in a new town (yay Pinedale!) in a new state in a new country. It s a lot. A fish out of water Lila wants nothing more than to go back to her old home. Moving to Pinedale after her mother s death is more than she bargained for and nothing makes sense. There s one logical illogical explanation that she could be like her mother who swore she could see ghosts. It s Lila's worst fear. But there s no such thing as ghosts right? Right? When her buddy goes missing Lila is faced with a dead-ly decision. With so many lives (and deaths) at stake she doesn t stand a ghost of a chance unless she embraces her ghost-whispering legacy. But that would mean giving up the chance of a fresh start.
