Nobody'S Boy

Nobody's Boy (original title: Sans Famille) is a novel by French author Hector Malot. The story follows the life of an orphan boy named Remi who is abandoned as a young child and goes on a journey to find his true identity and place in the world. Remi is taken in by a kind street performer named Vitalis who teaches him to play the harp and perform in the streets. Together with Vitalis and his troupe of performing animals Remi travels across France encountering a variety of people and situations. Along the way Remi discovers clues to his past and gradually pieces together the truth about his origins. What is his origin? Are you curious to know the true identity of Reni?
