Nobody's Friend

<p><em> Nobody's Friend (But that's not where it ends!)</em> is the first book in the series of children's picture books about the adventures of Perry a resourceful pygmy-possum and his friend Perky an adventurous quokka. It consists of five delightful five-minute stories which are designed to be read to children up to seven years of age perhaps as bedtime stories-although older children may enjoy reading them on their own. The stories begin with Perry waking up after several weeks-which he calls his torpor-time-to find that the land where he lives has been cleared. He's all alone and he sets out to find a friend. He meets Perky an adventurous quokka and together they travel anywhere and everywhere enjoying life and making a difference whenever and wherever they can. All stories are positive wholesome and educative. </p><p> The 12 watercolour illustrations are by acclaimed Australian artist Emma Stuart.
