This paper presents a study of non-material motivation of young professionals in comparison to their more experienced colleagues.Non-material motivation is the most confusing area of organizational psychology. It includes various phenomena that affect the behavior and performance of employees. Our study included needs motives goals values career orientations of employees - the inner picture of non-material motivation. Contentively considered 47 indicators of motivation for young professionals and 20 indicators for experienced. Two author''s methods are presented: projective methods of studying the goals and inner resources Five tops and Motivation of safe work. The classification of motives of professional activity on the basis of organizational development and improvement of professional skill of the worker is presented: from aspiration for safety and stability to motives of leadership creativity and realization of potential in work. The classification can be used in building an integral system of organizational motivation in training and development of employees. The scientific basis of this study - the Russian psychology of activity a comprehensive approach and the concept of Kurt Lewin.
