The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is the standardused by Federal statistical agencies in classifying business establishmentsfor the purpose of collecting analyzing and publishing statisticaldata related to the U.S. business economy. It is a joint work between theUntied States Canada and Mexico that allows a high level of comparabilitybetween the countries.
