North Fergana Valley Soils

The increase in global food production is leading to a deterioration in agricultural resources including soils and a decline in productivity. Especially in recent years the widespread use of pesticides in many areas has led to the loss of soil algae which are actively involved in the natural regeneration of soils and a decrease in their biological activity. In this regard it is important to determine the diversity of soil algae in agriculturally intensive areas and to justify the characteristics of their distribution.
