In the realm of today’s infinite cross-continental trade transactions along with the emergence of supranationalism regionalism and intergovernmentalism as new structures of decision-making in Europe institutional negotiations for economic diplomacy has become a major determinant in the landscape of international relations between the European Union (EU) and its Southern Mediterranean neighborhood. Indeed fostering trade became a key component of the Euro-Mediterranean partnership. It started with the 1995 Barcelona declaration and was further enlarged with the integration of the Southern Mediterranean countries in the European Neighborhood Policy (ENP). Later on new generations of Euro-Mediterranean partnerships have forged innovative and competitively advantaged models of economic diplomacy within regional and international arenas. Morocco has negotiated a wide range of associating agreements with the EU that included the 12-year free trade agreement (2000-2012) followed by others. These EU-Morocco trade agreements have been the fruits of constructive negotiations for a win-win cooperation based on promoting common values...
