<p>Seamus Norland has always been a lone wolf. Solitude had its perks but constantly looking over his shoulder without a pack to protect him took a toll on his soul. After years of fighting the power-hungry Ulvemordere-a nasty clan of berserkers that feed on magic-Seamus had gone numb to the plight of beings he once vowed to protect. Reduced to a common criminal he's always on the run-from allies from enemies and unfortunately himself.</p><p>Ophelia Av'Skogen is a hermit-nothing more than a strange young lady living alone in the woods always surrounded by woodland creatures. The tiny town she grew up in labels her a religious zealot shunning her and her supposed culture. Little do they know the mask she wears does more than denote what being she may worship. Ophelia has a secret-one that would get her killed should the Ulvemordere find out.</p><p>In a twist of fate Seamus and Ophelia find refuge in each other. But when the Ulvemordere find Seamus's hiding place and Ophelia's secret is revealed these unlikely companions are thrust into a battle that may not have a victor. Could their growing bond be the key to stopping the Ulvemordere once and for all? Or will this war end in tragedy for both sides?</p><p>Problem is the Witch seems to enjoy this wild adventure and the wolf quite likes her company.</p>
