Notes On Pilgrimage

For over a decade Andrew Bryan has guided treks and pilgrimages in the United Kingdom Ireland Portugal Spain and Italy. Each trip has brought together unique groups of adventurers ready to walk and talk. Along the way quiet moments and a bit of time to revel in solitude have provided the space in which the poems featured in this book typically came to light...words that capture the moment while walking along a cliff or just as the night comes exhausted from a full day. Most notably many of the lines and poems came to me while capturing a little respite from the sun inside a chapel along the Caminos as I wildly texted away using the Notes app on my iPhone trying to be discreet while others often took a moment to rest and reflect. Notes on Pilgrimage is a compilation of just that-words lines and poems which flowed from sojourning across ancient lands becoming one with the path.
