This book is a brief account of one of Napoleons most brilliant victories written in 1827 by an un-named British officer who was attached to the defeated Prussians as an observer. Although lamenting the defeat of Britains ally - after which Prussia was compelled to make peace at the French Emperors dictation - the officer an artilleryman cannot withold his admiration for Napoleons military genius. His account is backed by several pages of engraved maps together with appendices detailing orders of the day and orders of battle.
