Notion of insurance

The need for insurance emerged a long time ago. It was due to the development of trade and economic civil and legal relations in the world. Both enterprises and individuals have always tried to reduce damage from various external unpredictable phenomena. Therefore when the need emerged to diminish the impact of risks there appeared special persons and institutions which assumed responsibility for those risks for a certain fee. In its present form insurance is a complex social-productive relations. This is due above all to the multiplicity of services provided by insurance companies. There are various types and methods of insurance provided at this time. In principle it is possible to insure against any risk if this risk has a certain probability which is determined by special methods. It should be understood that insurance is not only related to the activities of the enterprise but also to the entire breadth of social relations.
