The use of steel-concrete compounds due to the use of the strengths of both steel and concrete systems as well as covering the weaknesses of these two systems has a significant role in being economics of structures and the use of maximum capacities of structures. But for the widespread use of these members the operation way of compound members in the plastic region and the absorption of energy need to be investigated. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of truncation fasteners on the behavior of composite members under the influence of pressure and bending. For this purpose 6 numerical simulations were investigated and analyzed in ABAQUS software. In 3 samples the cross-sectional distance of the Hobnails in composite members and in 3 other models were studied the composition of Hobnails in composite members was studied. 3D modeling nonlinear behavior of materials and non-linear static analysis were considered. The results of this study indicate that the longer the cross-section of the Hobnails will make better the compound member performs. The model also has the best performance and the highest energy absorption in the zigzag design.
