NCHMF is Vietnam''s weather and climate authority responsible for protecting life property and national security. The Marine Hydro-meteorological forecasting division is an operational unit under The National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting (referred to as the center) performing functions in ensuring marine meteorological forecasting for prevention of natural disasters socio-economic development ensuring defense security across the country.
