<p>John JT Williams a young black man growing up on the seamy side of Chicagoland stood at a crossroads. He figured he had two choices: He could run the streets with others his age and probably wind up behind bars like a caged animal or he could get an education that led him on a path toward a better life than that endured by his mother and her forebears the direct descendants of slaves.</p><p></p><p>He chose the latter. But being a black man living in a predominately white world still presented many challenges and obstacles to overcome.</p><p></p><p>Join JT on his journey to if not quite the promised land a place of productivity and prosperity.</p><p></p><p class=ql-align-center></p>
