Nursing in Intensive Care Units in focus

The book edited by Professor Claudia Toffano Benevento was the result of guidance provided for final projects in the Postgraduate Nursing Programme in Intensive Care Units (ICUs) at UniAnhanguera/Niterói/RJ. It analyses humanisation in the Intensive Care Unit and the strategy for preventing hospital infection in the use of Central Venous Catheters and Peripheral Insertion Catheters (CCIP) as well as absenteeism among nursing staff related to work-related illnesses.
