Nurturing Children Through Stories: Inspiration for Better Parenting

There is a magic in every story their never-ending charm is always felt by those who narrates them or listener of the story. It becomes very easy and acceptable to the children if you explain them what you want to say with the help of simple story. In our Indian culture the story telling method of teaching is very old tradition and its very effective even in todays scenario. Indeed every culture every tradition every ancient civilization has its own vast treasure house of stories steeped in the religion faith myths and their traditions. In the 1970s the illustrated version of Amar Chitra Katha was released captivating a new generation and becoming particularly popular among children. This collection featured the same stories many of us heard from our grandparents. In it our moral duty of all of us to keep our glorious tradition alive and pass it to our next generation so that they can be connected to our roots and get benefited with the teaching and learnings of great stories.
