<p><span>A young lady named Annie an adventurer and a very nosy snoop that gets her into mysteries. She discovers an underground cave with a long lost friend Brad and possible love when she was a teenager. Mystery unfolds in many ways. She didn't go to college stayed around her hometown Obeyville Kansas to help her family with their sole owned mercantile store. She finds out things about her family that shocks her as the book progresses. Annie runs into her High School flame Damian more mystery happens. Feelings for Brad grows and then dwindles and grows again. Annie's best friend Dorie comes to visit from college and helps with exploring the underground cave. Ghost appears in the underground library and a purple gem that fuels electricity and a time machine. </span></p>
