Obituary

<p><span style=background-color: rgba(255 255 255 1); color: rgba(34 34 34 1)>In many ways this book is a goodbye letter. A goodbye to my older sister. A goodbye to my childhood. A goodbye to an innocence I'll never know again. In other ways it's an acceptance letter. I'm accepting my grief. I'm accepting adulthood. I'm accepting that love and hope are everywhere: in my family my past my present my future and myself. I have poured my heart into each poem in this book. I started this collection when I was 18 and at 21 I'm letting it go. I hope readers will find comfort in themselves and their grief and I hope my words help just a little bit with that. Jamie L.
