Object Detection and Tracking in Images and Point Clouds

Bachelor Thesis from the year 2012 in the subject Computer Science - Software grade: A+ University College Dublin language: English abstract: Tracking objects in 3-dimensions is an important problem in computer vision. This paper aims to present the problem in the context of modern technology combined with established algorithms to create a hybrid system for tracking moving objects. The main issues in terms of state of the art implementation and theoretical viewpoint are discussed and conclusions are drawn on the direction taken.
