<p>Avery has high hopes for summer before senior year hanging out with friends again. Especially since she's finally free of her toxic boyfriend.<br><br>At least she thought.<br><br>Even though Zander's going away to college in the fall he refuses to accept that they are over. Showing up everywhere she is and calling her nonstop. The only thing that may get him to understand she's done with him is to show that she's moved on.<br><br>Faced with no other choice but to ask a friend Braden to be her fake boyfriend. Soon fake begins to feel all too real when she realizes Braden is the type of boyfriend she always wanted and the more time she spends with him her feelings become real.<br><br>When random inconveniences begin to happen to both her and Braden Avery wonders if she's only thrown gas onto the flames. It seems all she's managed to do is make things worse and put a target on Braden's back. Avery is faced with either letting Braden go or risking the worst happening to him as the torment escalates threatening not only Braden's upcoming football season but possibly his life as well.<br> </p>
