. In the year 2019 a man spends his declining years with his cat. His home is in a lightly forested area providing them with calm scenic views. Both their healths are in decline; the mans from a hard-to-diagnose disease the cats from old age. In the year 2294 a patrol cruiser was launched into the service of the third fleet. It served under several captains until it was pirated in 3045. Its new captain now uses the ship and a one-of-a-kind technology to steal from outposts and settlements all over a large section of Earths territories. One is intent on collecting while the other is intent on protecting. Little does the other know but both their fates are tightly intertwined.
