Pregnancy is a physiological situation that disturbs the haemostatic balance and therefore constitutes an additional thromboembolic risk in thrombophilic women incriminated in the occurrence of multiple complications. Thus our research work aims to explore through a review of the literature the involvement of thrombophilias in obstetric pathologies. The literature shows a demonstrated association between fetal losses and biological anomalies related to thrombosis. However this association is controversial for pre-eclampsia and not found for fetal hypotrophy. Finally there is very little documentation of this association for in utero growth retardation and retro placental hematoma. An early etiological diagnosis of these constitutional thrombophilias is recommended for adequate management.
