Odyssey

Twelve-year-old Brendan Bradshaw meets a mysterious robe-clad stranger while walking in a wood near his home one damp autumn afternoon. The man shows him tantalising glimpses of things normally hidden to human eyes and gives him some preliminary lessons in the nature of reality. Forty years later the now middle aged Brendan meets the man again; only this time he isn't alone. And this time the man makes no attempt to teach him. Instead he offers him the chance to take a journey of spiritual discovery with a waif-like little girl and her wild rabbit companion. And Brendan being Brendan can't refuse the offer...
