About the Author A Maths Graduate from Miranda House Delhi University she did NTT after marriage to teach small kids at Shishu Bhavan orphanage. Founder of CASPER''S HOME (A self-run canine rescue and rehab home) member of AIWC (All India Women''s Conference) Agra VOV (Voice of Voiceless) Society Faridabad Volunteer at Stop Acid Attacks Agra and benefactor for Missionaries of Charity MRS. VINEETA ARORA has been honoured by many for her selfless work and exemplary contribution towards education of underprivileged children raising awareness against acid attacks as well as animal cruelty and for giving shelter to distressed dogs. She recently received the ''M4U Award'' ''Sheroes Samman'' and the DLA Naari Shakti Award for her relentless dedication and selfless contribution towards society and for bringing about many positive and impressive changes in Agra. She also received a certificate of appreciation at the prestigious HT Woman Awards 2015 in Lucknow. Honoured by Suraj Govind School Keetham recently for her welfare work she wishes to motivate more schools and colleges to inspire their students to be compassionate towards animals. Being the city representative for the IUFA campaign she is making marathon efforts to raise support and awareness for the ''Animal Welfare Bill''. An avid reader and freelance writer she has written many articles in newspapers and magazines and has conducted many awareness programmes in schools colleges and even in remote villages. She has indeed set a wonderful example for humans and animals to coexist peacefully and she hopes to inspire her readers through this book. The documentary BARK by Italian Federico and Saverio was based on Mrs. Vineeta Arora''s efforts for the rehabilitation and shelter of homeless dogs.
