Of Israel and Christian Zionism : Of the Church and the Second Coming of Christ ( A Book in Three Parts )

Dr. Mani completed his undergraduation ( MBBS) at Christian Medical College Punjab India in 1971 and his postgraduation ( MD in Dermatology ) at All India Institute of Medical Sciences New Delhi in 1976. Since then he has been continuously working in the Teaching Faculty of five Medical Colleges in India until his retirement as the Professor of Dermatology from Believers Church Medical College in Thiruvalla Kerala in 2018. Dr. Mani served for 26 years ( during three periods ) at CMC Ludhiana and for shorter periods in Wanless Hospital ( attached to Miraj Medical College Maharashtra ) and at the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences along with his wife Dr. Anna. Dr. Mani and Dr. Anna ( Physician) are now working in a Kerala Mission Hospital. They have a daughter Vinita who is a Neurologist and a son Anand who is a Management Consultant. This 354-page book is in Three Parts and with a Glossary and Maps. The author makes the following assertions and suggestions: The Israel-Palestine Conflict is Geo-Political and not Biblical and Israel is a trespasser in Palestine propped up by Britain and America. The “Abrahamic Covenant “ has been inherited by the Church through Christ as per 27 New Testament quotations. In Part One Twelve Israeli Myths are demolished and Ten “Driving Forces” to the Conflict are elaborated. In Part Two the author has rebutted several Biblical and historical premises of Christian Zionism point by point. In Part Three quotations from several Christian authors have emphasized the Church’s long-standing views on Christ’s Second Coming which views contradict Christian Zionism.There should be an immediate Two-State solution brought about by an imaginary “Global Action Committee” which should also ensure that Israel America and Britain make full reparations to the Palestinians.
