American heiress Liza Ramsay recent beneficiary of the thirteenth century Ramsay Castle in the Scottish Lowlands is looking forward to a quiet winter as she plans a summer wedding to Lachlan McClaren former groundskeeper and falsely accused murder suspect. Just as their lives are settling down from the traumatic killing spree at the castle the pair receives a strange request from a renowned Scottish magnate to host a three-day retreat-a billionaires' club of sorts-for some of the richest and most powerful geopolitical players that all have agendas for mischievousness mayhem and malice. When one of the guests is discovered dead after a night of sensual entertainment Liza and Lachlan attempt to maintain order with a group of guests that all have motives for murder.
