Twenty-seven-year-old Erin Cavanaughs future seems set in place with a flat of her own and a partnership at an industrial architecture firm in Cork Ireland. Enter the not-so-certain future of her twelve-year-old half-sister Olivia though whose mother has recently passed away and Erin finds her world flipped on its head as she suddenly must take charge of the girl. With neither one quite believing that they are truly related they set out across the Emerald Isle in search of Olivias biological father. Along their zigzagging road trip the pair soon begin to realise that sometimes you need to leave your comfort zone in order to discover who you are.
