On the Bench

<p class=ql-align-justify>It is the mid-1990s in the Adelaide Western suburbs and the final year of high school for Noah and Sadie. </p><p class=ql-align-justify>Sadie is usually just a reserve in basketball but Noah doesn't mind; the chance to be benched next to the quiet girl with the low ponytail and the tattered Bugs Bunny scrunchie is the whole reason he joined the team after all.</p><p>High school is nearly over. </p><p>But Sloopy and Sadie feel more lost than ever; </p><p>until they find each other sitting on the bench.</p>
