On the Theory of Emulsion Polymerization

About The Book

The reader of technical literature should be interested to know by whom the piece of work is written and for whom it is intended to be used. We would like to believe that our book will be of interest to chemists and physicists dealing with problems of emulsion polymerization and aiming to produce monodisperse polymeric particles in heterogeneous liquid systems. The main purpose of this book is to present to the reader the results of several experimental studies that show a possible link between the EP and the specifics of physical and chemical processes that occur at monomer-water interfaces. In these experiments the polymerization is carried out under static conditions which allowed to observe and investigate the physical and chemical processes occurring as on the interface as well as in separate bulk phases of the heterogeneous systems.
