On Toni Morrison

Toni Morrison deals with the topic of community in most of her books. She portraits both communities that care and those which forsake. Her writing seems to reflect the change the black community has been undergoing as well as her view of a possible remedy for them and their members. After looking at the topic of community theoretically this work analyzes the alternation in Morrison''s proposed cure through her novels The Bluest Eye Song of Solomon and Paradise.
