<p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>Since 1914 the Happy Canyon Indian Pageant and Wild West Show of the Pendleton Round-Up has entertained audiences of all ages bringing together families and friends to experience a beautiful celebration of local Oregon history.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>The all-volunteer cast honors the beauty of local Tribal life and the spirit of the Old West. Performed in a dedicated area under the stars and set to live orchestra music the unique show reenacts early local Tribal life shows the coming of the emigrants on the Oregon Trail and concludes with a depiction of a frontier town's rollicking main street mishaps.</span></p><p></p><p><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>In an effort to share the show's colorful storyline with the children who love Happy Canyon Becky wrote </span><em style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>On With the Show - The Story of Happy Canyon</em><span style=color: rgba(0 0 0 1)>. This book delivers an easy-to-follow narrative of the show's script and is illustrated with beautiful photography as well as archival photos to weave together the current show and its history.</span></p>
