Once Upon a River

Sometimes the word adventure conjures up feelings of fun and excitement and maybe longing. At other times it stands for danger and ultimate fear. The story depicted in these pages encompasses a panorama of both. Aaron White a typical teenager from a typical farming family had never ventured far from home. He was no stranger to hard work and was a prime candidate for a trip into a wild and exciting adventure into the unknown. He was suddenly transported from a typical day on the farm into a colorful daydream. At the outset he was given a lecture on history and then instructions for a long journey where he would discover clues that would eventually be used to solve an ages old mystery. While some of the events he encountered on his journey were a reminder of his actual home life he confronted others that were intimidating and at times very dangerous. The fact that the mystery had baffled many before him made the adventure more challenging.
