One More Chance

<p>When Kate moves to follow her dreams she never expects to begin a relationship so soon after her arrival. After she declares her love for her boyfriend he flees.</p><p>After wallowing in misery for weeks Kate's boss Max finally loses patience and gives Kate an ultimatum. Max hopes proximity will generate a rapport between them when he offers to engage in a false relationship to help Kate reunite with Alec. As their ruse progresses Kate realises that her feelings for Max have changed. When he hints about a closer relationship pursues the attraction between them never thinking Alec might impede her happiness.</p><p>When Kate's ex attempts a reconciliation her refusal angers him. But believing Kate has violated their agreement Max retaliates by humiliating Kate in public and when she returns home she knows her job is untenable. Without a reference Kate's job opportunities are limited so she throws herself at the mercy of an acquaintance.</p><p>While Kate's professional life soars an unexpected meeting starts with Max questioning his understanding of what happened between them.
