<p><i>One Thousand Names of Soma</i> is the second book in The Secret History of the Vedas book series. In this exploration the book sheds light on the nature of Soma and its significance in Hinduism. The focus of this book is the mercurial entity known as Soma which has multiple meanings in the Vedic dharma. Drawing from the Ninth Book of the Rig Veda <i>One Thousand Names</i> of Soma presents and explains one thousand epithets for Soma taken from the Rig Veda presenting a complete picture of this complex and multifaceted entity.</p>
