One Thousand Words

1000 Words is intended to kick-start your language learning by giving you a quick-and-dirty insight into the workings of your target language. It's not a grammar a phrasebook or a textbook. The 1000 most-used words in each language will give you the edge you need to make yourself understood while you engage in an immersion program or other intensive study program. You can also use film and television resources in the target language to refine your understanding and to give you an intuitive understanding of the grammar.
